Regional High Performance Program Commitment: All players are expected to train as many days as possible per week and demonstrate they are in the higher percentage of the six key qualities of a Youth National Team Player. They will play in regional leagues and tournaments and attend high-level events throughout the country in the fall, winter, and spring of each year with a dedicated effort to advance to regional and national finals. Each Roster will improve their team’s resume, which will open up opportunities to compete in higher-level showcase tournaments throughout the United States.
The Elite 64 Regional League is a club-based second tier of Elite 64 serving various geographic areas around the United States. Brackets of up to 10 teams each will see teams play a single round-robin or double round-robin schedule per seasonal year.
Top-performing teams, plus wildcards, may qualify for the NL Quarterfinals.
The Great Lakes Conference is one of 13 Conferences within the National League that offer team-based competition, meaning each team earns its place into the appropriate level of play through its play on the field. The 13 Conferences share national connectivity via the Conference Playoffs, which provide a platform for the top 10 percent of teams from the 3,500+ teams playing in the conferences to come together and compete for an opportunity to continue on the pathway toward the US Youth Soccer National Championships.
The Great Lakes Alliance is a US Club Soccer sanctioned regional league providing competition from a wide variety of cities throughout Ohio, Western PA and Western NY with convenient travel.
Evolving from the historic Super Y League, USL Youth provides alignment between the USL’s youth initiatives and the full USL ecosystem’s youth-to-pro pathway. It focuses on building and engaging a vibrant youth soccer community through events, content, and experiences, providing an integral step in the soccer journey of players, coaches, clubs, and families.
